About the Seminar

Founded in 1996, the Bluegrass Area Basketmakers Seminar has been a beloved annual event for fiber artists. We’re thrilled to host the 30th annual seminar at:

Carrollton, KY (just 3 miles off I-71, Exit 44, between Louisville and Cincinnati). Pro tip: Avoid GPS backroads if you’re in a hurry!

 The 2026 Seminar will be held June 9, 2025 through June 13, 2026. The 2026 Class list with pictures of the projects offered and Registration instructions will be available on-line through Cheddar Up no later than January 2, 2026. The deadline for 2026 Seminar registration is May 1, 2026.
